Nuclear Review Victory
LFG mobilised over 50 CEOs, experts, and 700 supporters to demand full implementation of the Fingleton Review’s 47 recommendations on nuclear regulation.
The government committed to accepting all of them within a week, promising cheaper energy, greater energy security, and economic growth. This marks a major step in overcoming regulatory barriers that have hindered Britain’s nuclear sector.
Graffiti Campaign
LFG volunteers cleaned graffiti from London Underground stations in a viral direct-action campaign that exposed neglect. TfL chief Andy Lord falsely claimed volunteers were spraying graffiti to fake clean-ups, but an FOI request revealed secret emails proving no evidence existed, forcing his apology.
TfL has now announced it willhire 120 new staff to deep-clean trains and address the widespread graffiti problem.
Phone Theft Campaign
LFG and Crush Crime’s persistent push highlighted London’s phone theft epidemic, despite Mayor Sadiq Khan initially dismissing it as “disinformation” and accusing campaigners of misleading the public.
After over a year of pressure, Khan announced a new “Command Cell” to target organised gangs behind the thefts, along with millions in funding for enforcement. This forced official acknowledgement and resource allocation to improve safety and tackle career criminals.
Building a Movement
Looking For Growth is building a genuine movement for growth in Britain. From filling the O2 with over 1,300 attendees to establishing 23 chapters (and counting) across the country, we have become a genuine cross-party coalition of founders, investors, and citizens refusing to accept Britain's managed decline. The results prove what organised pressure can achieve.
